Durante, Hollister Complete Training for New Insomnia Treatment
Mary-Kathryn Durante, PhD, and Cindy Hollister, LMSW, with the BryanLGH Counseling Center, are the first in Nebraska to be trained in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia. Research shows the new therapy, which focuses on thought patterns and behaviors, is as effective as sleeping pills without the potential side effects. Only a handful of practitioners in the nation are trained to provide CBT-I treatment. For more information, call BryanLGH at 481-5991.
