Van Gerpen in Philadelphia
Ruth Van Gerpen, RN, BryanLGH clinical nurse specialist in oncology, was recently in Philadelphia to attend the Oncology Nursing Society’s Annual Congress. She presented an abstract on the successful outcomes of the LifeSpring Cancer Recovery Program at LifePointe by BryanLGH. Research has shown this program significantly improves participants’ quality of life, especially in the areas of fatigue and depression. Sleep and pain management also are improved.
