What You Can Expect

You may be asked to participate in a series of evaluations. These are part of a complete assessment that helps us identify your needs and plan your treatment program. We will explain your condition and keep you informed of your progress.

Your therapy sessions and activities will be posted on a daily schedule board. Your personal physician may continue to follow your progress and remains in charge of your medical care. Most patients spend a minimum of three hours in therapy each day, at least five days a week. Therapy may take place in both individual and group settings. Sessions are scheduled at various times throughout the day.

We want you to be as active as possible. Because of this increased activity level, you will naturally feel somewhat tired, but your energy level should improve as you regain your strength.

Your meals will be served in the dining room on the inpatient rehabilitation unit.
