BryanLGH Cancer Program Receives 3-Year Approval with Commendation

The cancer program at BryanLGH Medical Center has received three-year approval with commendation from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.
“This recognition by the American College of Surgeons speaks to the caliber of physicians, nurses and hospital staff we have caring for oncology patients at BryanLGH,” said Craig Ames, president and COO, BryanLGH Medical Center. “From diagnosis to recovery, we are surpassing national benchmarks to achieve the best outcomes for our cancer patients.”
Of the possible nine commendations, BryanLGH received eight. Noted among these were the number of patients enrolled in clinical trials and the very active community outreach program at BryanLGH.
